Please join us in a conversation about young adults and mental health. Three panelists will participate. Logan Cummings, an assistant psychologist at McLean Hospital, along with two peers with lived experience – Michaela Cravotta-Crouch and Natalie Slabczynski, both from DBSA Boston. This event will cover this topic broadly, as well as through personal, real-life experiences.
SPEAKER BIOS
Logan Cummings completed his PhD in Clinical Psychology at Florida International University, a clinical internship at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center – Houston, and his postdoctoral fellowship at McLean’s 3East Dialectical Behavior Program for Adolescents and Young Adults with chronic emotion dysregulation and related conditions (suicide, self-harm, substance use, impulsivity).
Michaela “Meach” Cravotta-Crouch is a 37-year-old Arlington resident and proud cat mom to her beloved Midnight. She has been a member of DBSA Boston for over 15 years and has been a long-time member, facilitator, and Zoom buddy for the Young Adults group. Meach currently serves as Office Manager and Vice President. Along with other Young Adult group members, she has helped successfully launch and establish the Young Adults group back in person. Outside of DBSA Boston, Meach enjoys spending quality time with her friends, who have become like family, as well as her parents and, of course, spending as much time as possible with her precious Midnight.
Natalie Slabczynski is a 30-year-old residing in Northampton, MA with her wonderful partner, enjoying the quieter side of Massachusetts. She spent the first 27 years of her life closer to Boston, and made her way west. Natalie is working on applying to Law School and pursuing a JD to work in family law and child advocacy ultimately. She’s very tech-savvy, and she loves concerts, day trips, and quiet rainy days in.
