Please come and participate in an expressive writing workshop with Sherri Levine. She will provide an interactive space involving a few sample exercises and feedback from everyone. The exercises will be about lighter topics and allow the writing process to evolve. This event will NOT be recorded to allow for a safe, comfortable space for all. Note: this is the second part of a two-part series; the first was in November and the video is on the website. Please take a look if you wish beforehand. SPEAKER BIO
Sherri Levine is an award-winning poet, creative writing teacher, and mental health advocate, living in Portland, Oregon. She is the author of three poetry books, including I Remember Not Sleeping, an illustrated book dedicated to those struggling with mental illness or who know someone who is.
She believes in the power of writing in a community and offers workshops and classes in expressive writing. In her forthcoming anthology—Waking in the Blue: Poems & Essays on Mental Health, Sherri asked poets around the world to submit poems and essays asking how their mental health affects their poetry.
