Become a DBSA Boston Member

NOTE: DBSA Boston paid membership is NOT required to attend our support groups, activities, and events. All our programs are free for the community.

Happy Spring from DBSA Boston! We are currently running a membership drive through May 31. Although all of our programs are free for the community, DBSA Boston depends on memberships and donations to continue with our mission.

In our 39th year of service, we hope you’ll consider renewing your membership or becoming a member for the first time! While not required, your membership shows your support of DBSA Boston’s mission to provide support groups, activities, and events for people who have been affected by mood disorders. It will also allow you to vote in the Elections for Board Members in June.

New Membership Level: Family Lifetime Membership
(Covers up to 6 Family Members)

About Us

· The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance of Boston is an independent, self-sustaining, non-profit organization that provides peer-led, volunteer-run support groups, activities, and events for people who have been affected by mood disorders. We also provide support groups for family and friends.

· The organization was established in 1985 when it was first known as the Manic-Depressive and Depressive Association (MDDA Boston).

· In our 38th year of service, we are holding fourteen unique support groups and a daily morning mediation circle. We are also growing our creativity program and our monthly Speaker Series.

· We now have one in-person group that meets in Boston on Thursday nights from 7 to 9 p.m.—see details here. All other DBSA Boston groups still meet on Zoom.

For a schedule of our support groups, please visit our schedules page.
